A cerimônia da 65ª edição do Grammy, a principal premiação da indústria musical, acontece no domingo (5), às 22h [horário de Brasília], em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos. A premiação será transmitida na HBO Max.
A cantora Anitta é única brasileira indicada como artista. Ela concorre na categoria Revelação.
Nas redes sociais, ela compartilhou que já está em Los Angeles e confessou estar ansiosa para o evento.
"A minha categoria é uma das mais importantes, é muito nervosismo. Estamos começando agora os eventos, participações. Tenho vários eventos para ir nesta semana, antes do Grammy. Eles fazem muitas festas, muitos eventos, muitas coisas e eu vou estar em grande parte deles. E agora, sim, está dando um super frio na barriga", disse.
É a 22ª indicação brasileira para o maior prêmio da música. Neste ano, outra brasileira também está na lista de indicados, mas pelo seu álbum. A cantora de jazz Flora Purim, carioca, assim como Anitta, está concorrendo na categoria melhor álbum de jazz com "Se Você Quiser".
Já a última vez em que um artista brasileiro ganhou um Grammy foi em 2017, com Eliane Elias na categoria Melhor Álbum de Jazz Latino, com “Dance of Time”.
A premiação contará com uma sére de shows de grandes nomes da música, como: Harry Styles, Lizzo, Bad Bunny, Sam Smith e mais.
A estrela pop Beyoncé liderou o grupo de músicos indicados ao Grammy, marcando um confronto com Adele, Styles e outros pelo prêmio máximo de álbum do ano.
Ela recebeu nove indicações para as maiores honras da música. Isso elevou sua carreira total para 88, empatando-a com o marido Jay-Z como a artista mais indicada na história do Grammy.
O rapper Kendrick Lamar, também concorrendo a álbum do ano por “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers”, recebeu oito indicações no total, seguido por Adele e a cantora e compositora Brandi Carlile com sete cada.
