Meet Brazil's opponents in women's handball at Paris 2024

Group with Brazilian team has five more teams

The groups for the men's and women's Olympic handball teams were drawn this Tuesday (16), in Paris. The women's team met the opposing teams and is in group B, the same as the host team. In women's handball, Brazil is the seven-time champion of the Pan American Games and was world champion in 2013.

In past campaigns, the team was eliminated in the first phase in Tokyo 2020 and reached the quarter-finals in London 2012 and Rio 2016. The Men's Team did not qualify for the games. The groups looked like this:

Female's groups
Group A: Germany, South Korea, Denmark, Slovenia, Norway and Sweden
Group B: Angola, Brazil, Spain, France, Netherlands and Hungary

Man's groups
Group A: Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Japan and Sweden
Group B: Argentina, Denmark, Egypt, France, Hungary and Norway
